Reform UK is surging. They have quadrupled their vote share in a matter of weeks. The 'Conservatives' are in freefall.
We know Labour will form the next government and it will likely be a clear majority.

I don't know if the UK Labour party is pro-Hamas but I
will be very surprised to find a major political party in
the west that is not pro-Israel.

Reform got 10 seats, bro. Or mate, since it's the UK.

Labour has over 400 seats. Forty times what Reform got. 😹 😹 😹 😹 😹 😹 😹

The Right is fucked in the UK for the next 20 years. Starmer just won the biggest electoral landslide in British history.

Starmer expelled Corbyn, the UK's answer to Frankie. It was part of an initiative to take Labour into the centre to force the Tories to the right where they would fight Reform for the votes of the UK Mitch's and Orries and Kirks.

Starmer throws dog treats at the party's remaining lefties while also throwing dog treats at the party's moderates.

With a 200+ seat majority, he can now keep the treats all to himself. So we'll see what he does.

Corbyn was taken out years ago by Israeli lobbyists.
He's back and won his seat.

Starmer is the robot.

LOL. So a ‘left’ wing government won with policies to reduce immigration and took out a ‘Right’ wing party that had a brown PM and introduced things such as equality, gay marriage for the LGBT community.

I just came back yesterday. I was being facetious yet it’s been a centrist country for more than 20 years which is a great thing to see. All the main parties agree on and take a lot of social politics for granted, that that rip other countries apart like the US.

The Labour increased their base by less that 2 %. It was a finger to the conservatives that ensured they won.

The bigger worry is that there isn’t a left wing gov and there is a real a right wing gov that received over 4 million votes.

When will Nigel Farage's mouth swallow his face? He unleashed a torrent of lies in the build up to the election.

Rishi Sunak became the fall guy when the Bank of England refused to finance Prime Minister Liz Truss budget. It was a risk not worth taking, the UK would have collapsed into an economic Great Depression.

You don't need an in-depth understanding of politics
in the UK to observe that their Conservative party on
comparison with their counterparts in the U.S. and Canada
is liberal. On issues like LGBT rights, climate change and
Ukraine War they are nearly as progressive as other centrist
and center-left political parties in Europe.

In the spirit of Democracy I prefer division to unity. Protests over the
outcome of the Biden vs Trump election this year and the election
in Canada next year won't rip us apart. If voting out Trump in 2020
did not result in social chaos I won't worry about his return in 2025.

I bet the Labour Party won't last long in power like the Conservative.
Life in the U.K. is going to suck big time under Starmer. He will be
voted out in the next election. Ain't Democracy great?

That's because it's Europe and not the US, where the right incorporates Catholic fundamentalism and Protestant evangelicalism and gun rights and shit.

The problem for the Tories was competence. The post Brexit Tory party played heavily to the far right "We hates Furriners and Not Whites!" base and had no doable plans for the economy, social services or anything else. Essentially, the post 2016 Tories were a 1-trick pony that leaned on Brexit as its electoral weapon.

Brexit was heavily over-promised to win the Tories the 2017 and 2019 elections and - inevitably - failed to deliver because it was always a bullshit political scam and a self-wound to the British economy. And the Tories had nothing else to offer.

Worse, most of the pre Brexit intelligent Tory parliamentarians bailed after 2016 and the party advanced persons who appealed to the Base. So you got dum-dums like Liz Truss being promoted FAR beyond their ability level. Virtually the entire Tory cabinet were clearly not competent to fill their posts. They then deflected and fought back with political rhetoric designed to appeal to the Base and stoke division and anger.

This left them fucked on 2 levels. First, it lost them the educated centre-right vote. Anyone with a brain could see how pathetic the Tories had become. So Starmer - who is extremely smart - moved Labour to the right and gobbled up the centre vote. That fucked the Tories badly.

Then Farage opportunistically attacked the Tories from the far right with a "I hate Non Whites even more than the Tories and most of my candidates are actual Nazis and that's not a bad thing!" platform. So the Tories lost the far right, low information, hate-stalgia base that they were leaning on after 2019.

Result was the worse electoral loss in British history.
