If you believe in cover ups you believe in conspiracies. And 99.9% of these are probably BS, especially those related to UFOs.
It is hard to believe we are the only intelligent life forms in the universe, but that is a totally different question than anything to do with UFO's.
We are probably not the only intelligent life form in the universe, however it is very probable that we will never meet any of the others. The truth of the first statement is unknown (and perhaps unknowable), the second part is certain.
Sure, I believe that us human are not the only intelligent life forms in the universe and that for years global governments have been hiding UFO and ET encounters incidents from the public, which I don't blame them for doing so.
Just look at those recent declassified UFO files from UK.
Are all the reported cases legit ? Don't think so. But I am more interested in knowing how much our governments have been hiding from the general public.
After all, we are still discovering new species on our tiny earth as we speak. The possibility of life out there in the universe most certainly can not be discounted.
Then again, so what if I see an ET or an UFO and manage to confirm their existence. Life goes on. I still have to work, eat, fuck, shit, sleep, pay tax.. yadadee yadadaa. Nothing changes IMO really.

Do UFOs exist?
Of course they do!
Are they from another planet / solar system / whatever? No. I have no evidence that they are, and no reason to believe that they are.
I believe that UFOs are terrestrial in origin, most of them man-made.
But if we knew what they were, they wouldn't be Unidentified, would they?
