My picks and how ended for Saturday:

Henderson over Jackson - TKO 2nd

Filipovic over Kongo - KO 2nd
*I'm still simply amazed that some people think his real last name is "CroCop"??????

Bisping over Hamill - Submission 1st

As for the rest of the fights? Who gives a crap.

I'm waiting on 2 parlay tickets for UFC right now. I actually have to wait until the 22nd for a possible payout.

But for this week -I've got Filipovic to win. After that I'll need Rua and Lidell to come in. I played Couture and StPierre at the last PPV and those paid out as singles but I've also got both with the rest of these fights on parlays.

This is taking way too long.

Rampage by KO in the second
CroCop by submission in the first

Rampage just got too much for Dan in terms of age and size. Except for Wanderlei, Dan's last few fights have gone to decision. He can't let that happen with Rampage.

Mirko's got something to prove now, so he's going to mow down Cheick Kongo like he did Kevin Randleman.

I'm not sure how many teams you have in your parlay or the amount you wagered and the amount you'll win if the parlay hits but if its a substantial amount then you may want to consider hedge on your parlay.

this is why I like the UFC better than boxing. Not only do they put together better fights but they give it to you free once in a while on tv. Look at the card: CroCop , Rampage and Henderson. Three world champions. Wait til they get some more of those pride guys and someone like Brock Lesnar, the UFC is just going to keep getting better and better.

Bisping over Hamill - Submission 1st

Hendo/Jackson is a tough call. Hendo's win over Wand should have an asterisk beside it because Wand was very sick during that bout. However, Hendo's tough as hell and looks a ripped and shredded 203(?) during weigh in. They also match up well. Striking edge goes to Quinton but Hendo's got a decent clinch which used to be Quinton's weakness - Quinton should be prepared for the clinch for this fight though. Wrestling edge I'd give a slight nod to Dan. Both have very solid chins (a KO would be very surprising) and both are not known for subs. This is a really tough call but I'm fairly certain it'll go to 5 rounds. QJ by decision.

Mirko over Kongo by KO - round 2. If Kongo is to win, he has to win early as Mirko will start tentative. I see Mirko getting in the groove and knock Kongo out in the second.

Bisping over Hamill and I'm very interested in Alexander vs Sakara. We'll see if Alexander is the real deal after this fight as Sakara's a really good striker.

Rampage vs Hendo

I think Jackson will just be too physically strong for Henderson. Hendo has had more sucess as a middleweight fighter than a light heavyweight fighter.
Henderson is the better wrestler but I think Quinton's strength will negate that advantage. Rampage's hands are definitely better...
Isn't Quinton's clinch pretty solid (didn't he beat Randleman that way?)
I have Rampage in the fourth by referee stoppage.

Kongo vs Crocop
Crocop in the second...Either by knockout or by referee stoppage. Crocop always bounces back strong after a loss and he has been training like a madman after his embarrassing loss. Haven't seen Kongo fight but I doubt he will have what it takes to take out Crocop in a stand up fight.

Bisping vs Hamil
I take Bisping by decision. Though Hamil may surprise if he is able to keep taking down Bisping.

Houston vs Sakara should be a good brawl. Both guys who will just try to knock the shit out of each other.

It is sort of funny but kind of understandable because his name has been announced in many fights as "Mirko Crocop" and not as Mirko "Crocop" Filipovic.

the ufc site lists him as mirko cro cop on the card. :) guess that's marketing since we all know him as crocop, not as filipovic.

i hope hamill gets slaughtered tonight. he's such a conceited mofo.

7 minutes to go!!! can't wait.

***warning This Is By No Means A Brag Post***

Its not common for me to place a wager this large but I spent the better part of yesterday and today getting the funds in place to make a substantially large wager tonight on Dan Henderson.

I love Rampage but at +110 I couldn't resist placing this wager.

Wish me luck tonight guys!

I thought that Hamill got robbed, we could not believe they gave the decision to Bisping. I like Bisping, and I do not like Hamill, but I though Hamill won the fight. He was gracious about it too. Was anyone else expecting Hamill to get the decision?

Still think Hamill is conceited.I thought he was very humble in defeat.Especially since everyone I watched the fight with thought he won the fight.

That was a shocking decision. Over on the mma boards almost everyone is calling it highway robbery. I would hate to see UFC judges go the way of boxing.

The whole event was kind of a letdown.

I think Hamill got robbed. He clearly won the first round. The other 2 was close but I think he had it as well - getting several take-downs and being the aggressor for 99% of the fight. Having the hometown on his side save Bisping from the big L.

Crocop/Congo was a slow-motion boxing match. They don't look like MMA fighters at all - just 2 sluggist 1-dimensional boxers. Might impress some people with a powerful kick or punch now and then, but that's about it.

Rampage/Henderson wasn't too bad, at least there's some technique/skill shown there. Not terribly exciting after the first round though.

Well at least it's free :p and the Serra/Hughes preview of UF looks like a riot too :p

I was surprised that Bisping won.....Hamil did more than enough during the fight. He was aggressive and landed some big shots. He controlled Bisping on the ground. And he took Bisping down every round...

The only thing Bisping did better was that he landed more shots in the second and third round...Bisping definitely outboxed Hamil in Round 2 & 3....but the takedowns alone should have given the win to Hamil...

Crocop....Very very disappointed...
I really really hate to say it and it breaks my heart to think it...but it might be time for him to retire.....He just didn't seem to be the Crocop of old that was feared in the Pride ring....Age might have caught up to him.....Plus the UFC just doesn't seem to suit him.....The cage really has fucked with his style (no more bouncing off the ropes) and he may be too old to adjust to the UFC.....

Rampage fought a good fight....Hendo came out strong but Rampage was just too strong....Some great exchanges between the two of them....
Henderson should get a title fight at the Middleweight class....

Sakara versus Houston...Entertaining fight....Houston needs to fight a few more fights before he gets taken seriously as a contender...Plenty of guys at the LHW to fight.

The Marcus Davis fight was pretty entertaining as well....Props to him for getting a submission.....Remember him in The Ultimate Fighter where he had no ground game at all....

Overall....For a free UFC.....it was pretty damn good.....though there could have been less commercials....At least there were no commercials for the Championship fight

I felt the same way. Matt Hamil got ripped off. I went into the fight being a Bisping fan and annoyed by Hamil, but after round 1, I was pulling for the upset. There should be a re-match on that one soon enough. Bisping looked shit. The only way Bisping got round 3 was because Hamil kept his hands down. I hate the interview after where Bisping says "I beat him, go back to wrestling".

Best fight of the night was Marcus Davis over Paul Taylor.

Maybe he didn't hear the decision.....Just kidding....

Bisping kind of looked like a fuck....
Forgot what he said...but he alluded to the fact he won the Reality show...Didn't he realize that he barely won that fight (or really didn't win that fight)....
He should have at least given Hamil some respect....Instead he came of like an arrogant prick....

Kind of liked Bisping in the show....but after his last few fights....not a big fan....

His stand up seems to be over-rated....Not a great kicker....

hamill did get robbed but you kinda knew that anything close was going to go to the guy from england. bisping's words to hamill after the fight pissed me off too.
