main CARD
Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET
Renan Barao vs. Urijah Faber
for bantamweight title
Jose Aldo vs. Ricardo Lamas
for featherweight title
Frank Mir vs. Alistair Overeem
Ali Bagautinov vs. John Lineker
Abel Trujillo vs. Jamie Varner

Renan Barao vs. Urijah Faber.........Barao hasn't tasted defeat in years but how will he do against the new Duane Ludwig trained undefeated in his last 4 fights Urijah? This has the potential to be the fight of the year already. I'll take Barao only because Faber took this fight on short notice and won't have the advantage of a full camp.

Jose Aldo vs. Ricardo Lamas .........Can anybody beat Aldo?..Probably not!...Jose by KO.

Frank Mir vs. Alistair Overeem....... This will be Mir's last fight in the UFC as Overeem ends this one early. Mir only has one chnace and that is to get him down to the ground and with Alistair's strength I can't see that happening.

Meisha Tate has dumped Bryan Carraway. (Changes to her Twitter acct right after she lost her last fight seem to side with this.) You've heard it here first.

Barao TKO round 4
Aldo TKO round 2
I'm picking underdog Mir, Overeem just isn't the same post-PED's, submission round 3 after surviving a furious onslaught of punches and kicks in round 1 & 2

Got to hand it to Faber he was all class in defeat. I don't think he was going to win but the stoppage was premature.

Now he's in Rich Franklin and Anderson Silva territory. I highly doubt he'll get a 3rd shot at Barao.

The Reem actually executed a smart game plan for once. Don't get him calling out Lesnar though. Maybe he gets PPV points in his contract, lol.

Mir's done. He had a great run but he's just cannon fodder for the up and comers from here on out.

Andrei Orlovski and Rumble Johnson were at the event tonight. Could they be back in the fold in the near future?
