Date: October 19, 2013
Location: Houston, Texas
Venue: Toyota Center
Broadcast: PPV, FOX Sports 1, Facebook
MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET)
Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos - for heavyweight title
Daniel Cormier vs. Roy Nelson
Gilbert Melendez vs. Diego Sanchez
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Shawn Jordan
John Dodson vs. Darrell Montague
JDS has been doing a lot of talking this week. About boxing the Klitchko's and a cut he suffered in training for this fight and how Cain couldn't put him away last time. Sounds like his head isn't right for this fight if you ask me. Does he really think that he could hang in there with the Klitchko's,lol....How delusional is he? My guess is that Cain repeats the same results as last time.
Cormier is a bad matchup for just about anybody and even the slimmer Nelson will not be able to pull this one out. Cormier by 3 round dominance.
Melendez/Sanchez has the potential fight of the night written all over it. Unfortunately for Sanchez Gilbert has him beaten in all areas and I have a feeling he will stop him. But love him or hate him Sanchez keeps coming forward and should make this a very entertaining bout.
