MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view, 10 p.m. ET)

Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos - for heavyweight title
Daniel Cormier vs. Roy Nelson
Gilbert Melendez vs. Diego Sanchez
Gabriel Gonzaga vs. Shawn Jordan
John Dodson vs. Darrell Montague

JDS has been doing a lot of talking this week. About boxing the Klitchko's and a cut he suffered in training for this fight and how Cain couldn't put him away last time. Sounds like his head isn't right for this fight if you ask me. Does he really think that he could hang in there with the Klitchko's,lol....How delusional is he? My guess is that Cain repeats the same results as last time.

Cormier is a bad matchup for just about anybody and even the slimmer Nelson will not be able to pull this one out. Cormier by 3 round dominance.

Melendez/Sanchez has the potential fight of the night written all over it. Unfortunately for Sanchez Gilbert has him beaten in all areas and I have a feeling he will stop him. But love him or hate him Sanchez keeps coming forward and should make this a very entertaining bout.

Here are my early predictions:

Cain will win by decision, but it won't be the one sided beating he laid on JDS the last time, and won't be as exciting.
Cormier & Nelson will be a 3 round snoozefest, Cormier by decision.
Melendez 3 round decision, Melendez dominating.

I hope I'm wrong and all 3 fights end spectacularly, but when I look for that I get disappointed, so better to expect little and over-deliver. I'll check back in 3 hours and see how it all unfolded.

Holy shit what a fight, Van Wilder you were almost perfect in your predictions, I almost thought you had it, JDS looked like he was going to get TKO'd in the 3rd.

That's probably the last Cain vs. JDS fight ever. Who the hell is going to beat Cain, he looks unbeatable.

Melendez is getting better every fight, I thought he was overrated when he was in Strikeforce but man he's tough, if it wasn't Sanchez tonight it would've been a KO.

Dodson looks awesome, rematch with Johnson will probably happen next year.

Looking forward to GSP vs. Hendricks. I'm cheering for Hendricks as GSP has become the most boring champion in the UFC by a country mile.

JDS is one most likeable athletes I have ever had the pleasure of watching. But he basically fought the same fight as the last one with Cain.

One has to wonder about his coaches and his fight I.Q. Either that or Cain's style is just to much for him.

Where does JDS go from here? He's kind of in the same situation that Rich Franklin was in some time ago.

Roy Nelson is just a gatekeeper at this stage in his career and I'm not sure he would fare any better at 205.

Nelson is a plodder that gets hit way to much. Sure he can take a punch but the problem is he takes way to many of them against the elite of the division.

Sanchez is a warrior that is for sure. Did you see the size of that cut? Jesus how was that fight not stopped? And speaking of should have been stopped, Herb Dean should have saved JDS from the savage beating he was taking in the third round in my opinion.

Melendez/ Pettis anyone? It's going to be a classic.

Does Cormier get an immediate title shot against Jones when he drops down? Assuming Jones takes out Texeira of course. I think he should be pitted against Gustafsson first.

It's to bad Cormier and Cain are teammates because that would be a barn burner for sure.

Great card tonight.
