* Champ Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn (for lightweight title)

* Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard
* Marcus Davis vs. Nate Diaz

Okay lately I've been sucking big time in my predictions so lets hope I do better this time.

Edgar vs B.J. Penn .....Penn. I believe he will be after Edgar from the get go and will not let him stick and move and establish the pace like last time.

Couture vs Toney...... Couture. The longer this stays on the feet the better for toney so Randy will immediately close the distance and go for a double led takedown. After that it's only a matter of time.

Maia vs Miranda...... Maia. Don't know much about Miranda but see the UFC using this fight as a tool to get Maia back on track against an opponent with less credible opponents.

Davis vs Diaz......... Diaz. This weight division is better suited for Diaz and he should frustrate Davis with his awkward style.

Florian vs Maynard..Florian. Maynard is kind of a raw brute while Florian is a technician. I'll take the technician in a methodical dismantling.

Couture vs Toney is just laughable.

I was going to make my predictions, but The Oracle made them for me, even his comments I agree with. But I will change my prediction and pick Davis over Diaz. I guess I will watch, though it is certainly not a must-see, if I get another option, I will take it.

Should be a fun card to watch. Hell I watch every card and always enjoy them. I guess if I was a casual fight fan I might not watch them all but the though of missing a UFC, Strikeforce, Dream etc. event.... *shudder*

My picks:

Penn vs Edgar: Penn...Penn is gonna try to hurt Edgar with his hands - slow him down and try to pressure and corner Edgar - Maybe take him down and take him apart on the ground...Penn by TKO in the 4th

Couture vs Toney: Couture is gonna come in low and take him down before Toney can get a bead on him...Couture by TKO in the first....

Maia vs Miranda: Maia by Sub in the 3rd though I could see a possible upset if Maia trys to stand with Miranda (kind of like Marquadt vs Maia)...

Florian vs Maynard: Florian is too technical and smart for Maynard...Ken will win by Decision...If Maynard wins it will be a boring fight

Davis vs Diaz: Diaz by submission in the third - This could be a very entertaining fight...

main fight I am interested in is Maynard vs. Florian - going with Florian by decision. He is too strong physically, and as a wrestler for Florian.

The aftermath:

-BJ Penn is a great fighter but Edgar just has his number. As well as Frankie fought last time he was even better this time.

-Toney as expected had absolutely nothing for Couture. He's lucky that Randy went for the sub and didn't punish him even more.

-Maia showed he was the superior grappler and applied his ground game easily.

-Maynard's wrestling was just to much for Kenflo's takedown defence. Will he be able to repeat his winning performance against Edgar in the rematch.

-Diaz is a hard fight for anyone and deserves a step up in competition. Love him or hate him he's turning into a very exciting fighter.
