I believe that was my point. They are extremists, but the only link to them and most religions is through the radical/extremist branch of the religion, that's why I said add extremist.

This whole episode is terribly sad as are many of the comments on this thread. It's 2013 and some of the hate filled comments amaze me. History is filled with similar episodes where one racial group goes after another. Religion is not the problem here either, but certain individuals twisted interpretation of it. Plenty of religious people out there (Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Catholic, Jew, etc.) that live in harmony with others and have no desire to harm another human being. There are also plenty of people in those same religions that would do harm.
It is easy to say that we are totally innocent in all this, but historically speaking, the Western world has not been very kind to the poor of the world either. This young man did nothing to deserve to die and the perpetrators are 100% at fault. Sorry, but that's where I figured you would go and I'm not buying it. White Supremacy, while originally founded upon the 'Christian Identity' principles, it is in fact now much more about racial differentiation and discrimination than it is about religious differentiation. That being the case, my original assertion that Wade Pape's attack was less about a barbaric Christian attacking Muslims, and more about a white supremist attacking members of a perceived lesser race.
