Earlier she asked Conrad Black if he’d sleep with her, she said she was joking.
Maybe Steve knew of this and was joking in the same way?
Or he was drunk and made an ass of himself like 95% of guys have done at some time?
Either way, he handled the email well by passing it along to his TVO bosses immediately.

I don't know what to think.
Assuming she's being truthful she said she had the backing of John Tory and Sorbara in the past. That's a couple of solid names and gives her some credibility, albeit their support might be supporting her stance, not necessarily them knowing if she was truthful.
Then you have the fact that Paikin, who comes across as fairly intelligent, likely wouldn't be stupid enough to overtly request sex in exchange for an appearance on his show, especially with a witness.
Then there's the fact that the EA, as other's point out, is not a reliable witness. Might as well say the witness is her mom.
Sadly, as other's pointed out, she's not the most attractive so unless she magically fits his type, would he proposition her? I don't know.
Let's see if other women come forward. Pattern generally proves guilt.

Reading between the lines in the statement that TVO issued today -- the one that said Paikin would remain on air while this investigated -- it's pretty clear the TVO bigwigs don't believe her.
