Yes some unscrupulous scientists use false models to try to dupe the public for monetary gains. This was evident in climate change deniers, those who said cigarettes are not bad for you and polio can only be cured by chiropractors. Believing in conspiracy theories is not a sign of being logical but rather the opposite. You have have sources like Fox News and qanon which deny science not based on rigorous testing but instead using the OJ Defense - namely to question the accusers or in this case the scientists. This in no way proves their misguided theories are correct. If you ever studied formal logic you would understand that virtually every fox article is misleading and false. The sensational headlines are never backed up with facts. Quite the opposite is true. Just like the big lie - believers think that it is Logical proof that since joe Biden did not have big rallies there is no way he could have gotten 81,000,000 votes. This is not proof of anything but foolishness. It fails to take the proven facts into account and somehow trumpers believe that their logic proves it to be true. The facts are joe Biden did get 81,000,000 votes and after months of investigation absolutely 0 proof exists to the contrary. I can’t believe how naive the trumpers are that they think by questioning the motives of the judges, vote counters etc that they are proving anything. I think only an idiot would believe that so many judges are so politically corrupt that they would ruin their careers and reputations because they don’t like trump. That argument holds as much weight as the earth being flat or the earth being the centre of the universe
