Isn't your big story a case of "whoopee-shit, so what?!" The FBI director approved the search and Garland didn't?... Why should Garland approve an FBI search?... That's Wray's job. Everybody assumed that it was Wray right from the start.

The story concludes with another big revelation. It claims that AG Merrick Garland was being updated on the National Archives investigation and knew about the grand jury but did not approve the search Monday. Newsweek’s source claims Garland had “no prior knowledge” of the time of the raid. Instead it was FBI Director Christopher Wray who approved the search.

But why would anyone believe Newsweek about anything?
I said earlier all the early reporting should be regarded with lots of suspicion, but known shitty outlets should be ignored unless someone else supports the reporting independently.

FBI would have prefer that Trump did not bring confidential document home.

When you do not cheat you do not get investigated. Worked for Obama for 8 years ;)
That's why Garland is running in the opposite direction and Wrey is nowhere to be found. Sounds like a real winner.
BOOOOOM!

Nuclear Documents Among Items FBI Sought In Mar-a-Lago Search

ROTFLMFAO!! Right on cue, the leaks out of FBI have begun... just like during the Russia Hoax.

Garland called rump's bluff.
That's a massive PR success and now rump has to agree to release the warrant and Garland will release what they were looking for.
If it really is signal intel combined with nuclear secrets this fall is going to get very interested.
And so far only one of Bannon's storm troopers has attacked the FBI, as you seem to want.
He's dead.

LOL! What "bluff" is that? The White House sent 30 goons with ARs to raid its political opponent and we have no idea why except speculations and, now, a leak.

Trump said release the warrant, Garland called rump's bluff and said sure.
The DOJ went to Mar-a-Logo in June and took 15 boxes of docs.
Then a rump insider, likely Meadows, said there were more and provided enough evidence for the FBI to go all the way to Garland.

Why did Trump lie about these extra documents and why didn't he send them back with the others in June?

Months before the F.B.I. arrived at Mar-a-Lago, Mr. Trump had received a subpoena this spring in search of documents that federal investigators believed he had failed to turn over earlier in the year, when he returned 15 boxes of material to the archives, three people familiar with the matter said. The existence of the subpoena helps to flesh out the sequence of events that led to the search, and suggests that the Justice Department tried methods short of a search warrant to account for the material before taking the politically explosive step of sending F.B.I. agents unannounced to Mar-a-Lago.

BS. Trump and his lawyers have been in contact with the Justice Department as late as this June. They even met Trump at his home and visited the storage area. Even the partisan MSM can't deny it. Instead of continuing the process Garland and Clueless Joe decided to try to destroy their political opponent. Boy, it backfired !

It's been upgraded to "30 goons with ARs to raid" now?
I don't understand why ARs need to be mentioned as if there is anything wrong with it! Isn't every Murican supposed to carry his or her AR everywhere anyways?

Sorry, jc, but it looks like the spittle ruined your quote formatting again.
You'll have to try again with less bile.

Fact:
The FBI/DOJ did visit in June and take 15 boxes of documents.
Trump didn't include these documents or tell the FBI/DOJ he had them and it took Meadows or someone to spill the beans.

Today's fact:
Breitbart says the warrant cites the Espionage Act.
18 USC 793 is the Espionage Act

Most notably, the search warrant granted by US magistrate judge Bruce Reinhart and approved by Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized FBI agents to seize materials that could form evidence that Trump violated the Espionage Act under 18 USC 793, and Obstruction, under 18 USC 1519.

Let me just leave this here so you can digest it and prepare a narrative. ;)

That appears to be incorrect.
They took the 15 documents earlier in the year.
The meeting in June was about the documents Trump had failed to turn over previously.
(At least that is how I read the timeline.)

Trump's team leaked the warrant to Breitbart, who posted it about an hour before it was officially released.
Breitbart didn't black out the names of the agents involved, which now puts them in the cross hairs of rump and Bannon's storm troopers.
Since they couldn't control the narrative or prevent it coming out, they figured they would dox agents and hope for some threats?
Interesting choice.
