Each event has its own comprehensive security protocol. The Iranian plot is irrelevant. This was a local failure and the SAIC has to be brought to the carpet and/or fired.
Special Agent In Charge...the local commander who would be responsible for svouting the location, setting up the perimeter, etc etc. The head of DHS is not responsible for that.

SAIC is the secret service SAIC mate. SAIC "Special Agent.." is US Fed language, not local law enforcement. Sometimes - like FBI - just SAC, but means the same thing. Local means the specific detail. Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I've dealt with security situations and that's the language used so apologies if I confused you, but yes, its the USSS which is the prime.
Mayorkas does not deal with that detail. The head of that detail needs to be called to the carpet. Huge obvious failure.
