See, I think the big take away here is that you are right about this never happening before....but you don't connect the dots. It hasn't happened before, not because of political will, but because there was no evidence of illegal activity. Unfortunately for Trump, people close to him (or that used to be close) like Michael Cohen an others spilled the beans on some of his shadier activities (i.e., the fraud case based on Trump over estimating the value of his properties). And, while I know you think he is a god and beyond reproach, the law applies to every person and organization.
So, you can cry like a little bitch that the democrats weaponized the justice department....which is majority staffed by republicans....or, you can accept that there was enough evidence to try and convict Trump for his crimes. And, he has managed to get re-elected, so he will likely never face the most serious consequences, like the documents case where there is a solid chance he might have shared classified intelligence with foreign governments, or the January 6th case, where he tried to have a coup and retain power, even though a staggering number of people voted against him. Calling them witch hunts is completely inaccurate. They were good investigations brought about because of evidence. I know you like to deny reality when it comes to negative things about Trump, but these are facts.
Now, you can pretend that Biden was "ignoring what the country really needed," but in reality, he was fundamentally focused on improving life for the average American. From student loan forgiveness to $30 insulin, from the CHIPS act to infrastructure, he helped pass bills that will improve the quality and connectivity for Americans in red and blue states. He would have had an immigration deal except we know Trump tanked it so he could continue to vilify immigrants.
