I'm pretty sure McDonald's issues some kind of statement like that whenever a franchise does something that makes news.
Just kind of boiler plate reminder that "The McDonald's corporation" isn't endorsing/backing/responsible for whatever it is.
Basic CYA.
That's why I prefer candidates visiting small diners. It's also good for small business.

There was a whole section on language and the 3 Rs (Reading, Writing, Rithmetic). Not to mention, criticism of the Federal Education bureaucracy.
There was about 3 seconds where he said the words "Reading, Writing, Rithmetic".
He did also say he wanted to get rid of the Department of Education and you just need one guy.

Then the rest was about transgenderism being foisted on 5 year olds.
(And then some bit about jobs at the end.)

It is pretty clear what part Trump considered important and it wasn't the three Rs.

As always Trump has something for everyone, but we get the point. Two more weeks of intense editing and contradiction.
There's no intense editing here.
We see the whole question and Trump's answer.

My response merely emphasizes what Trump said in the clip versus what the original poster chose to post.

Boy, these next two weeks are going to be intense.

I do kind of love when the frothy right just does the "Here's a thing that was already public but we will pretend it is a scandal!!!" like this.

The public testimony by Hutchinson covered how she ditched her Trump lawyer after early testimony because she didn't like what was happening and being part of the cover up.
Now they release messages where she was trying to find ways to get out from her Trump lawyer and get the real evidence to the committee as if it is scandal.

They really think their supporters are idiots.

They say Harris is ducking the media....so she does a bunch of media, including a tempestuous one with Fox News. Aces them all.
In what universe did she ace a single interview?

She hasn't had one interview that wasn't a cringe-worthy disaster that left her interviewers stunned & horrified.

Harris has not been great at interviews when challenged. However, I think you are piling on. Harris did just fine on Fox News.

Judging the candidates on the answers you want is not the metric for a successful interview. I would say the same to the anti-Trump crowd.

Harris loves the endorsement of the war criminal establishment neocons.
I don't get the Liz Cheney thing. She was never that big a player in the Republican party. Does her father's name still mean anything? I think some commentators noted it could be the "Republican women dig Kamala too" strategy.

We might know how successful it will be after the post-election wrap-up.

This was her exact words before she became the annointed one:

"We have a very bold and vibrant president in Joe Biden," Harris told "Good Morning America" in February amid concerns about Biden’s health.

Also in February, Harris insisted, "Our president is in good shape, in good health, and is ready to lead in our second term."
And, you think he's incapacitated or something now? He's old. He's slower. But I do not necessarily think he's not in good physical or mental health. I also don't think she was lying. I know because Trump said it, you need to believe with all your heart, but there really isn't any indication or proof that Biden is not doing the job.

Why would they ever think that, I wonder?

Even if we leave out the transgenderism, it's still gabble-nonsense that makes no sense.
