I think there's one item during Trumps speech has been overlooked.

During the Presidential Joint Address to Congress, Trump spoke about Mexico, specifically addressing the designation of cartels as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO). He stated, "The cartels are waging war on America, and it's time for America to wage war on the cartels," comparing these groups to ISIS.

I don’t know about you, but I see where this is going.

President Donald Trump’s administration is loosening restrictions on military airstrikes by giving commanders more autonomy to make lethal decisions, according to a U.S. defense official.
New rules allow high-ranking military officers to fire at targets without White House approval, as long as the targets previously received official terrorist designations, an official told Military Times.

I'd say that Trump is preparing for military strikes into Mexico. Great, just fucking great.

Now I'm curious how soon Antifa will be designated a Terrorist Organization as a pretext for military strikes on US soil. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Just because your paranoid, doesn't mean you're wrong.

What's he going to do? It's not as though the cartel has military bases with a flag flying. They're part of the general population.

Aside from the fact that they really ARE intertwined with a lot of the provincial Mexican governments....

Are you insinuating Cartels run Mexico?

They may not have any "military bases with flying flag" but DEA and FBI know them well enough...they just don't have jurisdiction over Mexico. It's time for Mexican Govt to straighten up and deal with the cartels

What are they going to do?

Run air strikes on Mexican cities on the off chance that they incidentally nail a few bad guys while they blow up entire city blocks?

If Cartels are considered terrorists, they will be dealt with how Hamas are being dealt with...now if Cartels started using civilians as human shields...I don't think US will turn Mexico into Gaza 2.0...the will probably launnch covert ops and take out the big players...
