Here we go again, I think trump is pissed Zlenesky went on 60 minutes Sunday. (but he also Blames Putin and Biden later)

President Trump once again accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of starting the war with Russia on Monday, saying "you don't start a war with someone 20 times your size and then hope people give you some missiles."
Why it matters: Trump's comments come a day after a "60 Minutes" interview in which Zelensky suggested the Trump administration was operating in an "altered reality" in terms of the origins of the war.

  • Trump later said that he also blames Russian President Vladimir Putin and former President Biden.
What he's saying: "When you start a war you got to know you can win the war," Trump said of Zelensky.

  • "You have millions of people dead. Millions of people dead because of three people. ... Let's say Putin number one, but let's say Biden, who had no idea what the hell he was doing, number two, and Zelensky. And all I can do is try and stop it," he said.
  • Trump said the U.S. was "making progress" in its ceasefire push, which has produced no concrete results in the past several weeks.
  • Asked if he plans to impose more sanctions on Russia, Trump said: "I already have sanctions on Russia."
The other side: In the "60 Minutes" interview, Zelensky said "I don't want to engage in the altered reality that is being presented to me."

  • "First and foremost, we did not launch an attack," said Zelensky, referring back to Trump's past claims that he had started the war and to his combative Oval Office meeting with Trump and Vice President Vance.
  • "It seems to me that the vice president is somehow justifying Putin's actions," Zelensky said of Vance.
  • "I tried to explain, 'You can't look for something in the middle. There is an aggressor and there is a victim. The Russians are the aggressor, and we are the victim,'" he added.
Between the lines: Trump's Oval Office comments on Monday, and an earlier Truth Social post in which he blamed Zelensky and Biden for starting the war are at least in part a response to Zelensky's interview.

  • Trump was clearly irritated by Sunday's "60 Minutes" and wrote on Truth Social that the FCC should "impose the maximum fines and punishment" against CBS.

They are both wrong. The war in Ukraine started in 2014 when the US launched a colour revolution to over throw the sitting president of Ukraine. This colour revolution was carried out by Ukrainians who think Stepan Bandara was a cool dude (for those who don't know, Bandara was not a cool dude at all...so much so the SS had him arrested). The Russian speaking population of Ukraine in the east and south of the country said "fuck this noise, we're going to join Russia." Fighting ensues, bogus peace plans are signed and sevenish years later the war reignites with Russian intervention in the conflict. Scott Horton wrote a book on this whole debacle called Provoked, perhaps both Trump and Zelenskyy should pickup a copy and read it. Maybe they'll learn a thing or two

The war must be taking a big toll, or they reached a point its just minimal? Business can't be great for either of them.

Its still killing scored of Ukrainian soldiers. They increasingly raw troops with minimal training. Russia has much greater strategic depth and can afford the time to train their troops and rotate them. In addition they have an overwhelming firepower advantage.

Virtually every time the very sickening DONALD TRUMP opens his lying mouth he amplifies why not only is the most SICKENING MAGGOT on the planet but also the MOST HATED. Very deservedly so. Trump belongs with Putin and his very deluded cult who are far too stupid to know better.

But the elderly vodka soaked Ivans currently joining the Russian army are top tier?

And the 'strategic depth' is irrelevant as Ukraine has never even hinted it wants to annex Russian territory. Russia does have an artillery advantage but they're still fighting WWII.

There are more of them and Russia has safe areas in the rear to train them, that is what strategic depth provides you. Russia can strike anywhere in Ukraine with impunity. Why do you think they were sending troops overseas for training. But many were refusing to return so that stopped. And now if they train them in Ukraine the Russian attack them before they even get to the front. Artillery is 100% relevant and in WWII you did not have drones to adjust fire in real time. Artillery response from Russia is under 2 min now.

OH SH*T: Trump Suffers SCARY MELTDOWN as Zelenskyy Goes on NATIONAL TV With THIS!

ps....what happened to ending the war in 24 hours and what happened to Ukrain accepting Trumputins terms and Putin spitting in his pupil's face? Why isn't Trumputin playing strongman with Putin his puppeteer?

Did anyone see the press conference where Trump once again claimed that Ukraine started the war and then after seeing the horrified looks on his advisors, went into a soliloquy about how he (allegedly) passed a dementia test?

Thanks for confirming that Ukraine is not a threat to Russia. There goes your whole justification for Tsar Vlad's invasion.

And yes, it's pretty stupid to claim that Russia's troops are in any better shape than Ukraine's.
On its own, as a neutral nation it is not. But as part of NATO it is. They poked the bear... Is Cuba a threat to the USA?

Maybe he didn't lie about the dementia test, just couldn't remember what the results were.
Sure he remembered the results! Elephant, car, spoon, 3-4-5-6, shovel... 🤔 ...oh yeah.... flying monkeys! He passed with flying monkeys! The BEST flying monkeys. Perhaps the biggest crowd of flying monkeys in the history of the United States.

Oh fuck offf with your latest Russian bullshit narrative. Poking the bear! lol.

Putting a fence up, bars on your windows when there is a rabid bear on the loose next door who has destroyed other houses is not poking. The bear is just more pissed off and determined to attack and pillage your house.

So Ukraine wanted to join NATO because it fears a war with the BEAR. So when Russia warned joining NATO was a red line, Ukraine decided it would fight a war WITHOUT being in NATO to defend its RIGHT to join NATO. Its hard to think of dumber logic then this. You trigger your greatest risk to protect your right to sign a piece of paper. 🤣🤪

Ukraine did not decide to start a war. Russia did. When they invaded Crimea and the Donbass. (Remember that... little green men?) Before any talk of NATO. Back when the Russian installed kleptomaniac was in power.

Everyone who borders that fucking historically barbaric small dicked country has every right to have allies to help DEFEND themsevles from a crazy monkey with a striaght razor. Russia has no claim to the rights of anyone to decide to be allied with.

NATO is a purely DEFENSIVE force. The NATO organization has never attacked anyone. So what threat to Russia does Ukraine pose to Russia, except for fulfillling Putin's teenage wet dream of the restoration of the humiliating failure of the USSR by either outright invading and occupying a sovereign nation or installing puppets to expand their 'sphere of influence'.

So go ahead with your latest excuses for this barbaric Russian war, but most normal thinking people know these narratives are complete and classic Russian propaganda bullshit.

Yes they did, they broke a peace agreement they signed to end the civil war. One that was UNSC endorsed UNANIMOUSLY. Their insistence on joining NATO and their buildup to attack Don Bas left Russia with no choice. When they refused Russias ultimatum it was a choice. They could have backed down and gone back to the agreement they signed and agreed to remain neutral. They CHOSE not to.
