The only way Trump will have a shot at winning an election is if he reverses his stand on almost everything he's said. I don't think he believes anything he says, he is an empty shirt, so flip flop he will. He's the kind of guy who will say whatever people want to hear and mean none of it.

The flip flopping has now begun and we can use this thread to keep track of the many more flip flops to come from the big flopper:

Will you be using the same thread to keep track of the flip flops of the other politicians, so as to be fair?

Please start additional threads as needed.

I predict FAR more flip flopping from Trump. Clinton has staked out a relatively popular platform. Trump's platform to date alienates the majority of voters. He can't win on that platform so he will be doing a LOT of flip flopping--I think he will say whatever he thinks will help him win, I don't think he actually believes anything he says.

Clinton has less reason to flip flop since her platform as it stands today is already electable.

That is why Trump is great!

You have to see it fuji.

If Trump here reading this forum, all he will say is that he never flip flop on anything.

Then he will claim he will be flexible to complex problems. Except The Great Wall of America.

Next he will insult his detractors to make sure his points stick in people's mind.

Such as like phrases cut the gravy or various other insults like lyin Ted, or whatever he is going to use on Hillary.

T.O.
That mass of uneducated voters who are in love with him (he sure loves them back just as much) had better consider investing in an education, they'll be in for a rude awakening sooner or later.

Hillary, being a woman she can change her mind, and no one will be bothered by it. That's a woman's right. Human rights! Human rights!

Birds of a feather flock together...

One of her biggest supporters - Elizabeth Warren - a 100% white woman lied about her heritage claiming she is part Native American.

http://legalinsurrection.com/2016/05/trump-is-right-about-elizabeth-warrens-native-american-problem/

What a lying degenerate fraud.

So far it's Trump that's blowing around in the wind.
Clinton's been doing it her entire political career which stretches back decades.

Keep telling yourself that. You might be able to convince yourself if you really, really try.

Most politicians make a variety of alliances to get what they want, but few are as utterly vapid as Trump. On a scale from 1 to Bernie Madoff, Clinton is a 4 or 5, like most politicians, while Trump is the full Bern.

Hasn't Bernie Sanders managed to make a race of it with Clinton by focussing on precisely this point - that over the years she's flip-flopped on scores of issues such as support for the Iraq War, gay marriage, bailout for the banks, etc.?

I think Fuji is saying he prefers someone who's made a career of flip-flopping over someone who is new to the game.

I disagree - he is following a well thought out strategy to make himself President. Trump is a narcissist who wants to be President for the title and the respect not for pushing forward any particular agenda. He already assured the NYT editorial board that he was making promises including the wall which may not necessarily be feasible. Out of 17 candidates - how is Donald going to differentiate himself ? Taking a page from the tea party - Trump had a campaign that targeted the loony fringe - that is - he out tea partied the tea party ! Using immigration paranoia - he proposed a wall, Muslims paranoia - we'll keep them all out, Chinese trade deficit - he'll phone them and ask them to stop, Russian aggression - he'll phone Putin, ISIS - he can't tell you because it is so terrible. Basically he used the devoted loony fringe to propel his campaign realising that these supporters will not (or don't have the capacity) to validate any of his statements.

It worked but as Bill O'Rielly stated to him - the 10 million radical loonies pushing him through the primaries are not going to help him win over the 190 million voters who disagree with at least one of his platforms enough to vote for Hillary. Trump has the Republican nomination so now he is going to tack the campaign decidedly left so he can get support from all the voters he previously pissed off. He will be Trump the unifier bringing America together. I saw this in his latest speech which is funny considering all the effort that has been expended dividing Americans by race and religion. At least with his current supporters - it is doubtful they will notice the change.

Clinton is on the record as stating that she will continue the Obama agenda - expansion of Obamacare, higher taxes, green energy and the same strategy to deal with ISIS - no feet on the ground. That platform does not resonate at all with the majority of voters.
The only things Trump has to flip flop on are the forced deportation of illegal immigrants and banning of all Muslim travelers into the US. Everyone with a shred of common sense knows those policies are impossible to follow through with.

He affectionately refers to her as Crooked Hillary. I prefer 2 faced Hillary myself :)
