How could he suck Putin’s dick while standing up when Putin is a lot shorter than him?
Trump getting up waving his fist in the air and yelling 'fight'' multiple times in going to empower his base.
Especially that picture of him being whisked away be the secret service, fist waving, with the flag in the background. That's the money shot.
These moments are worth more to his re-election than any amount of campaign donations. Which I believe are going to sky rocket as a result of this solitary act.
Trump and his team have to figure how to use this to his best advantage. To do that right they have to wait until the details of this attempt are dissected fully. They have to be very careful here. He made a huge blunder Jan 6th...That can't happen ever again.
President Biden is in a difficult spot here as well. He has to show compassion but at the same time counter Trump's spin and figure out how to blame MAGA for this.
From a Canadian perspective Prime Minister Trudeau's initial response was spot on. Good for him and his team.

No, I don't think he will get independents because they do not want the chaos orange man brings but his base will go out of their way to vote and if they were to buy into mailing it in instead of going to the polls and Dems voting weakens because of a weak looking Biden, the US and the world may be in serious trouble.

I don't think those guys fired anything. If they did, they already had him in their crosshairs. Those first shots were from the gunman. I understand it was a SS guy with one shot. In the original footage you can hear one, distinctive, shot at the end of the initial two barrages from the failed assassin.
