Don't care what party they are. Next cycle I am voting for their opposition. Whatever the best response to COVID was, this is NOT it. They bungled this mess. And it will devastate many Canadians. They are all incompetent and need to be removed from office. Anyone else?

I am on the record that they have not done well, but "We have to do something so let's do this because at least it is something" doesn't tend to work out so well.
I agree that they are all starting from a deficit in my books, though.
Every single one of them will get my vote, they have done substantially a better job than most around the world.
And your constant repeat of wanting looser restrictions for the general public on what they should do or what their response should have been would have left significantly higher number of deaths as well as cases.
All 3 were following the head doctor's orders. What Ford should have done for example is follow Trump . Appoint a doctor (if it's legal???) who will say what he wants to hear.
Get rid of Fauci and put in Scott Atlas. Dr. Birx was pretty quiet and Dr. Redfield was always "dancing around the questions" until he had to testify.

I agree with doggystyle... they've done a good job of working together... f....k political parties... do what is best for the people. Politics in the U.S. is such a gong show I can't believe roughly 40% of the population would vote for that Trump idiot!!!

Both of those countries implemented stronger social distancing rules, stronger mask wearing rules and did way more contact tracing.
The heavy testing is also a major factor. They made testing much more easily available and used it with the contact tracing to target interventions.
At the time, this may have just been a lucky guess. As evidence has mounted that it tends to spread through super spreaders, it turns out that is extremely effective.

There is no allegation that Trudeau or anyone in his government made policy decisions for their own personal benefits.
It is unrealistic to expect us to do as well as Taiwan and Korea, but we should have done as well as northern Europe (ex UK).
That said, I give them all credit for having done so much better than US, and especially for having worked together. I did not expect Ford to do so well.
You have to remember, that because many loves USA, our leaders are restrained in what they can do that USA doesn't do..

Trudeau made the biggest mistake in PM history not closing the borders down to China in January. Thousands of Canadians lives were lost due to him. Trump gets the blame for all the US COVID deaths, so Trudeau really should be getting off scot free either.
Race relations seem to moving backwards. Having a blackface wearing Prime Minister is so wrong, embarrassing and hateful. For gods sake, they cancelled the Bon Appetit manager guy for wearing brown face (he makes cooking videos on YouTube) but our Prime Minister sports blackface on multiple occasions and is not held accountable.

Ford and Tory with the double shutdown phase 2-phase 3-phase 2 fake out was just pure incompetence that killed small business owners, commercial RE, hotel, airlines, restaurants etc etc.
Trudeau's ethics violations amount to a hill of beans, just like Harper's. I haven't posted endlessly about Harper just like I haven't posted endlessly about Trudeau. Trump is worth constant criticism and Ford has had a couple booboos.
