This thread is about a legit expense that you think is too high, at $220k.
Yet none of the righties on this board have taken offence to DoFo's $8 billion greenbelt, $650 million parking lot for Ontario Place, doubling the Ontario line costs, doubling the number of cabinet members to give cons raises then giving themselves 5 months off, giving away public assets to insiders for profit or refusing to fund repairs to the science centre so it can be shut and the land sold to insiders.
Why are these meals a bigger issue?

DoFo spent $1 million on making a fake business case to support tearing down Ontario Place so his donors can develop the land.
This is way worse than expensive meals on a flight.

I will say this though. Catering for private aircraft is stupidly expensive and over-priced and is pretty much controlled by the "Fixed base Operator", the gas station and terminal for private aircraft. They ahve a captive private jet flying clientele and they pay whatever the price is. Hence the grossly inflated pricing. And usually sub=standard food. A fucking vegetable crudite plate for 6 costs like $150! I have no idea what long haul meal prepped menu's like those described costs but I'd be surprised if dinner costs any less than $200pp.
Having said that also, the optics are bad and if Trudeau had better political acumen he'd pay someone $200k to find a way to self-cater these meals so they do not becomae such a (justifiably) outrageous scandal-worthy pissing away of taxpayers money.
Think about this. $220,000 is the amount of federal income tax that it would take TEN TERB members making $120k per year to pay. Just to feed and water these hogs for a routine trip.
