What information last appeared on Canadian coins dated 1947?

Something along the lines of "Et India Imperial." Once India gained it's independence from Britain, the notation was removed.
Correct! The additional inscription was Et Ind: Imp:, (Et Indiae Imperator); "and Emperor of India".

India gained independence in July, 1947. The last Canadian coins containing the Et Ind: Imp: inscription were issued in 1948, but dated 1947. There was a demand for new coins before the new dies with the revised inscription were ready. A small maple leaf appears next to the 1947 date on the coins issued in 1948 with the old inscription.

Guess what the average temperature is during the day at the utter tip of the North Pole around July 1st of every year

Where the black dot is:

Allright, so none of you homos can get this one.

Answer:

Daytime temperature at North Pole in the middle of summer is usually around 0 Celsius. Most people think it gets colder as you get closer to North Pole, this is incorrect. It actually gets slightly warmer closer you get to the absolute center of the Pole. Even in the winter it can get warmer at the Pole then in Northern Alaska for example.

The record high at North Pole in July was about +5 Celsius, but warmer temperatures are believed to have occurred.

Reason why North Pole is so warm is because as you get closer to the Pole you get closer to sea level, which is always warmer. Also in summer the Sun shines directly on the Pole 24 hours a day, keeping it warm

From Robin Hood to William Tell to Yankee doodle. A feather in a cap means recognition of an achievement. The Hungarians use to use a feather in their caps to indicate a kill like a notch on a gun.
