My colleague just dealt with this. Pains like electric shocks on the face. He eventually had nerve surgery where they go behind the year and operate on the trigeminal nerve. He seems to be okay now.

The whole surgery thing makes my bowels move, glad he’s okay.
Im hoping to get some info on dealing with this naturally, if there’s a way.

He required a recovery for about 4 weeks, and he is back to being normal. I think they will just relieve the pressure on the nerve and doesn't seem to be that big of a procedure all things considered.

It is a neuropathic pain. You need medication like Gabapentin or Lyrica. Surgery is the only other option. Which basically puts a numbing agent inside the nerve directly from my understanding. It is not a fun disorder and can range in pain levels. It is called the suicide Disease

Here is some more info. Hopefully it is just one of the nerves effected. All 3 can be extremely pain and almost unbearable to live with.
