Nashville used to be the mecca of low priced incall massage houses on 8th Street... local southern girls for $100 per hour, and you had to be in good health to keep up with them. Raids have largely closed them down, but get a copy of the Nashville Times as soon as you get to town. Read the ads in the back.
Memphis is home to some of the last remaining full-contact lap dancing venues. Pure Platinum is a nice one, Tiffanys Cabaret is another (I think that is the name). Dont go to any of the others.
Both are fun cities. Dont forget to tour Graceland and pay homage to Elvis.

Been to both once,
Nashville, stayed at the Loews Vanderbilt which is very nice, there is aslo the(wait for it....) Gaylord Opryland resort which is supposed to be nice and has no reflection of the name.
Memphis stayed at the Peabody Memphis, there is also the Grand Casino Tunica which is appraently very nice and a good choice for gaming-I would reccomend Pure Platinum..and yes avoid the smaller dumps.

When going through Memphis, do not park near Elvis' house. Elvis lives in a scary neighborhood. I drove by really fast and said 'WTF is all the fuss about?' My sister (an Elvis fanatic) says it's because he built Graceland in the 50's or something. Whatever. Nice hotels about another 10 minutes south from Graceland. Nashville is cool for a while but three days is likely enough. After all that travelling to the country mecca of the U-S, I ended up eating at Hard Rock Cafe. Go figure.
