This is pretty cool

Good news for glass. Bad news for wood. What's wrong with double pane insulation? I was once trying to return some broken glass to get it recycled. I phoned a glass company to find out where to take it. They told me it goes in a land fill. I said WTF? If any material is easily recyclable is should be glass I would have thought. Just melt it down and make something else?

It's a cool application. I could see it for use in places where you need the better insulation and windows you don't really intend to open.
I wonder how easy it is to clean?

It could be an advantage for burglars, there would be no shattering sound like glass breaking.

Would it be water proof? as wood would warp and rot if exposed to water too long.
