ok. well my response might be considered harsh, but i think it's totally appropriate. tnickp, you are clearly an idiot of the highest calibre. i'm very serious about that point. it's a fairly bold statement to make, but your comment on McCabe certainly warrants it. am i to understand that you are suggesting trading one of the top 4 defenceman (look at the stats) in the NHL for a bag of pucks? i mean seriously, this is one of the biggest problems with Leafs fans. a large number of them are clueless when it comes to hockey, and rag on the leafs when it's not justified. just look at the stats. McCabe and Kaberle are the second most productive pairing in the league, behind Pronger and Niedermeyer. there isn't a GM in the NHL that wouldn't absolutely LOVE to have either one of these guys, let alone both. these are the kind of guys that you build a team, and a stanley cup championship on.
for future reference, before you decide to pen such unitelligent, retarded garble, think about what you're saying!! the leafs are a good team, they are doing well, McCabe, along with Kaberle, is an elite defenceman. be grateful, appreciative and supportive. you are entitled to criticize, as a fan that is your right. when it is warranted, go ahead and criticize, but for gods sake, all the retarded, unintelligent, non-sensical comments that come from meathead leaf fans, such as tnickp need to stop.
