touchpad on laptop not responding

help please...

tried to troubleshoot this on my own but can't get it to work...just stopped working all of a sudden...i can use a usb mouse but the touchpad won't move...i downloaded the driver from synaptics but don't want to change anything until i'm sure

did a reboot and went through touchpad settings for any changes...can't find anything...

any help appreciated

figured it out...it's a function toggle key...must have hit it...

Aww, I was all set to say you should take it out for a nice dinner if it wasn't responding to your touch anymore.
