Way too much construction. The roads are a bumpy mess. Union Station "revitalization" is taking forever.

Last time I drove the QEW downtown , I counter over 30 sky cranes .

Yea we have lost a good looking skyline.

I would also say DT mississauga is also becomming the same.

More people move to the city, we want to limit urban sprawl, limit commuting times.... so we've gotta choose between an even greater growth of suburbs and even longer commuting times versus high density living which promotes public transportation.

Take your pick, can't have it both ways

Ive heard alot of simular comments about Vancouver's downtown.
The olympics went hand in hand with LOTS of construction and renovations,.
Then Mayor's bicycle lanes.
Rezoning downtown a few years ago has kept the demolitions and constructions noise and dust ever present.
I cant recall living anywhere in Vancouver over the last 8 years that was quiet.
I still love my city even though its constantly being changed. Its a work in progress.

2061.....oil shortages? if we are still oil dependent in 50 years, we will be nearly extinct.......i look back 50 years and remember what the futurists were saying then and just laugh.
