What a great show yesterday. I'm so glad we pulled it off. Makes you damn proud of the city and hopefully shuts up the naysayers.

i am still annoyed that only 70 cents of each ticket is going to charity - thats like only $300,000, which is peanuts! - though there will be some extra money from merchandising and profits...

still - $21 was way too cheap for the tickets - if they had charged $25 or $30, 99% of the people would still have gone, and the money to charity would have been in the millions!

My Definite Highlights:

Rush - Technically awesome everytime. Spirit of Radio had me thinking back to high school all over again.
Guess Who - American Women never sounded so good.
AC DC - Do these guys ever slow down!
Stones - They were good but their age is definitely showing. Some of those notes and guitar riffs were cut short.
Justin Timberlake - The only good thing I liked was him dodging the debris from the AC DC fans.

Monkeylove, that blonde was spectacular! My shoulders are still sore from her being on them for most of the concert.

:D

ACDC was the highlight for me. Of course the topless women were awesome too. I encourage that kind of support. "Toronto's economy needs your help ladies, bring out the tourists by going topless!"

I don't think it was fair to throw stuff at Timberlake. I don't think he was paid, and some of the people were there to see him - believe it or not, their were people with Timberlake t-shirts in the crowd around me. Just like some were there to see Rush - whom I don't care for because I can't understand a word their singer says.

I was only upset that you had to buy tickets to get food, except for a couple lines which excepted cash. The cash-accepted lines were long, not marked, and those that only accepted tickets their were no line ups. If they had made it easier to buy food, they would have made more money.

Nice review Cardinal Fang...

Poor old er... young Justin Timberbarf.
Dan and Jim (blues brothers thing) was a bit of a yawn
Sass Jordan used to be sooo SEXY. Still not to bad on the eyes but an uninspiring performance.
Blue Rodeo was another yawn.
Guess Who's American Woman was really good!
I personally thought AC DC ROCKED the place!
Better than the Stones!
Good day for Toronto!

Anyone get or know of any pictures of the talent that was topless.
A brief shot on the news but I’d like to see some still shots or something.

The only let down was that a few morons were so ungrateful that a big name did this concert for FREE to support a good cause because he was asked. Was he out of place? Hell yes. He already has a Sold Out show at the ACC, so he didn't need the publicity. He was there to support Toronto's SARS free image and we treat him like shit.....Bravo.

I would have liked to have seen Neil Young or Robbie Robertson on the bill.

Justin TimberXXXX

Saw part of his post show interview on CTV news. In front of the camera, he handled the bottle throwing ordeal quite well, just like a pro and with grace. I don't realy dig his craft as a singer, but he did gain my respect.

Did he do a number with Mick on stage or he just winged a Stones tune in his set?

Justin Timberlake.
His last few girlfriends have included Brittany Spears, Janet Jackson and his current flame Cameron Diaz. And the guys who threw water bottles at him are dating???????????
They should be bowing at his feet. Also, Justin was invited by Mick for the show. Pretty good circle of friends I must say.
