Yes but you can get a flu shot also the flu is a known virus. People aren't freaking out they are not accepting all that health officials are saying or not saying because we saw the same scenario with SARS. Having seen the spread in China indicates what could happen since the initial infection began with only a few people in China. So not paranoia but cautious.

They said his symptoms were mild too, pretty much like a regular flu. Thats really good news.
From what I've read its the accompanying pneumonia that kills people.
So if you have asthma, COPD or some other lung issues this virus can be a problem for you
I expect that he'll be hobbying by noon, while his wife is still under self-quarantine, at home, LOL!

It's actually a woman in her 20's, apparently she has since pretty much recovered and is at home in self isolation.
She initially tested negative, a secondary test showed a positive result, she had a mild strain.
It all depends the individual's health and immune system. Most of the terbites are old with chronic illnesses (I bet many are smokers too) so that's why they are panicking.
