Excellent place and worth the higher price.

Also, try the veal and steak sandwiches with all the toppings, although "sandwich" isn't the best way to describe them. It's a long piece of Italian bread with the meat on top and then tons of toppings piled on top of that.

I eat there a lot too. It seems expensive however their pizza goes a long way. A medium will do two hungry adults with a few slices left over. So imo it's not really that expensive when you consider the "mileage" that you get out of one their pies. They're very genorous with the toppings which are of very high quality particularily meats - bacon, pepperoni etc.

I still can't believe that some jerk thinks that all of Buffalo has better pizza than Dante's.

The Plumb Tomato has better sandwiches, although I have never tried a steak sandwich at Dante's. I have had steak on my pizza, and as far as I know Dante's is the only place that has this in the Toronto area.

There is nothing in Buffalo that is better than Toronto, except for the wings.

I see that you chumps haven't bothered to mention Vesuvios. A truly out of this world pizza that has a moderate to high price but the size and quality more than make up for it. PLUS IT"S REALLY ITALIAN OPERATORS. LOL
