I was entertaining some clients at a local pub and had spent quite a large amount of money as my clients were rather large drinkers. When I had finally gotten all of them into a cab I went to the bar to tab out and have one for the road. As I was paying...with my credit card...the bartender ( a rather sexy brunette ) says to me, "you know sir, it is really nice getting the older crowd in here and I hope you come back to see us". Older crowd???....as I was looking around I realized she was talking about...ME!!! At this time I couldn't figure out whether I was insulted or just angry. I paid the bill and gave her a generous tip with the advice..." sometimes it is not what you say...but what you don't". This I know went so far over her head that she probably had to ask her parents to explain this one to her.
Don't know if it was insult or compliment. "You do it a lot different than your brother" Swear to God. Arghh!
