I feel sorry for Kelly McGillis.
She was a reasonably good actress; but these days she best remembered for helping to uphold the facade of a man who'd rather promote a cult than face his homosexuality.

I should have explained myself better.As for Oracle: Ellen D for one (and she was already mentioned), Farrah Fawcett (though she prolly doesn't look too good now 6 mths after her death) and Cheryl Ladd
and that grandmother from the Bowflex commercials......
What I ment was I do not know any 52 year old women personally who look smashing first thing in the morning without their hair done or any makeup and with those god aweful glasses on.

She's made up to the nines and the Bowflex grandma, come on . She probably went through 3 hrs with the makeup and hair people before the shoot.
How so? Until recently it's understood a very significant number of Caucasian women lose their looks faster than the Asian counterparts by mid-30s. In fact as far as two decades ago white ladies used to be known as the only group routinely to utilize plastic surgeries in the search for the "fountain of youth".
Nowadays the aging "gap" is getting narrow since many Asian women catch up identical lifestyles, vices and diets fast. The Asian women even match the frequency and the age to start utilizing plastic surgeries.
Plus, I say on average, not the whole group.
BTW, never find Kelly McGillis a "crush".

You obviously didn't catch the latest episode of Law&Order SVU, with Ann Margaret, Susan Anton, Jaclyn Smith and I believe Morgan Fairchild, all 50+ and still turning heads. There's definitely some Botox vials and Collagen in the drawers, but very nice.
I'm not sure what your point us but I know several women in their 50's that look as good as the Cheryl Ladd picture. So there are plenty of well preserved women out there. Some of them would be classified as "high maitenance " but not all.
I also know a 50 year old escort in Montreal that facially looks 39. One of the best all time faces in the business and a real class act.

And I'm not talking about the personal trainers, the surgeries, the collagen treatments etc... that Hollywood actors are known for. All you have to do is eat properly, exercise daily, and don't partake in destructive behaviour- including massive sun worshiping, chain smoking cigarettes amongst the more illicit activities...
If you follow that path, you will age gracefully, if you do not, well, you know the answer to that question already.

age does it every time!! if you don't look after yourself!! also l was shocked to see Chevy Chase and Steve Martin, but l think Goldie Hawn looks great plus the lady from I dream of Genie!!
