What exactly in what I said is in need of justification? If someone is racist then why would they care what you thought to begin with? You're actually shaming someone for saying they're friendly with black people, when does it end? How is it that racism or sexism became equated with pointing out any single difference whatsoever between races or genders. And it's true, Alison. I sincerely believe that the vast majority of the black providers that are advertising "No black gentlemen" are doing it more because of that family issue then because of a pimp problem. But I guess it is easier to say that black guys want to pimp girls, so all what some people are seeing is that.

I'm not from Ottawa, so I don't have this problem. But if I would go back to my home town, I would never see a black girl, too afraid to be face to face with someone that I would've know.

So I don't know anything about discrimination because I'm not black? Jesus christ get over yourself. And it might be "racist" to think black males are worse to escorts on average, or in the very least the few that are bad are worse than any other race (which COULD be the case, I have no idea as I'm not an escort), but to consider that as a possibility doesn't make me wrong or an asshole. I would never treat anyone differently because of their race, but maybe some women, in some situations, in this profession, should be morally allowed to do so. If a woman won't see me because I'm too young, then I would have to assume she's had bad experiences with young guys, and that's too bad but who am I to tell her she's being unreasonable. If an escort will fuck a black guy, but refuse to see all other black guys, then she's not trying to discriminate against someone because of their race, but rather because of their personality and behaviour, which she believes to be a correlate to race (and it's not impossible that she's right). I'm not going to argue if it is racist or discriminatory to not see certain clients based on their colour. I do believe that in this industry a certain leeway should be given because for a provider it is their personal body and what reasons they have are their own. Theoretically, the average escort could be smarter than the average person, but it sure as hell has no intellectual barrier of entry. I actually did point out that out. "No blacks under 35" means it isn't about race, it's about a separate variable - maybe age, or culture, etc. and even if it only applies to black people, it's not inherently racist. You're discriminating against someone because of their personality, not their race. This is actually a very unique situation in that a woman's safety can be compromised by NOT being discriminatory. If a woman has met 50 french clients and 50 english clients, and 10 of each were at least somewhat bad to her, but 5 of the 10 french were EXTREMELY bad to her, and none of the 10 english were extremely bad, while the other 40 french were way nicer than the other 40 english on average, THEN YES, the averages are the same, BUT the distribution is skewed. In this case, it is morally permissible for an escort to discriminate against french people, since her job is literally one of the most dangerous possible.
