Tipping at "all inclusive" massage places

Sorry if this question has been already discussed before, but do you guys know what is the standard tipping policy/norm at massage places with "all inclusive" rates such as Vibe or Brass Club? And by tipping I do not mean paying for extra services (at the best of my knowledge, they are not offered at these places), but just tipping because you liked the girl and she made you feel good. Is is standard to tip on top of the all inclusive rate? If so, how much is OK to tip? Is tipping usually expected?

Tipping at a SPA is that grey area between the service and an SB/SD relationship IMO. It depends what you're after. A spa trip can be as simple as enjoying your time, paying what's due and that's it, or you can do what many seem to do and get involved in having a few favourites, keeping up with their social media accounts where many will post gift ideas and every woman's favourite, endless messaging between bookings. For the extreme of this look up the twitter for Bella of Muse Toronto Spa.
If you are blown away by someone than go ahead and give an extra 20 and yes she will appreciate it but no more than they would at a restaurant.
If you're looking for a GFE experience that goes beyond the time booked, or is enhanced in the session, gifts are probably better than a bit of extra cash. Especially gift cards to common favourite shops like VS and Lulus. You can get ideas from their twitter accounts.
I definitely would not say tipping is expected though. Treat it as part of the fantasy if you're after that or if you do develop a favourite than surprise her with something around a big day. Never feel obligated to give more, or feel like you've set a precedent by doing it in the past.

I sometimes noticed the sign that reminds us to tip the girls over at CMJ west location.

I saw that sign as well since cmj west implemented the new system around Dec. From speaking with the girls and other clients, some of us do not like the new system. First pay full fee to the receptionist before stepping in the room then we are reminded with the sign (on the front counter) to tip. Call me cheap but 180$ for 1hr is not enuf?

$180 is standard in Ottawa for the hour in my experience. I was told by Lacy that the new system was implemented because Jasmin was being stolen from on a regular basis and clients were constantly trying to negotiate prices in the room but Jasmin told me the changes were necessary because of the significant growth she's had. If those reasons are true, I don't blame the policy change. I don't mind it at all and think it makes sense. Most places you pay upfront! I find the women at CMJ to always be far more attractive and mature than the other spas and clubs and with the newly renovated addition, CMJ again takes the lead in facilities IMHO.

I usually tip when I have great service but I've heard from many women over the years that a lot of men never tip them. A little sign is just a reminder but I've never been asked or felt pressure to tip at CMJ.

For those that do tip, how much? I tip SP's, especially if service is great. Some of them tell me I'm tipping them too much, but they also say a lot of other things that stroke my ego so it's hard to trust that. :). Haven't been to an MA before.

What I always wonder is how much of the total fee goes to the MA herself? It used to be and many places still operate this way that you pay the door fee and then tip your MA in the room depending on services provided. I went to an all inclusive spa and paid the full amount up front but the MA was so not into it and just going through the motions so she probably didn't get much of the fee I paid but instead it went to the house and she was paid just a little. If I get good service at an all inclusive spa I always tip a bit extra.

Amount of tip varies so much there is no standard amount. If a girl gives ok service then no tip. If you really like her and the service is slightly better than average, then 20-40. If you and the girl click and you end up fornicating or whatever the sky is the limit. Too many variables for a solid answer. Also, did you take a gift of some sort? That could factor into what you leave at the end, if anything.

As for what the girl gets out of the fee paid, again that varies from place to place. All-inclusives I THINK most times the girl gets @ 50%, so there is no excuse for her service to not be good. The example above was probably just a matter of no chemistry, MA having bad day or she was just not that good. Most will provide a good experience for the all inclusive rate with the hope that you really like her and you will be a decent guy who will show appreciation for a great effort. Good on you to tip wen warranted, you likely see rewards for generosity on repeats.

When you're at Brass, you can see the exact breakdown of what the girls get if you crane your head and look at the papers pinned just under the front desk as you're leaving the bar area. I can't recall the exact numbers, but it's similar to Muse's posted numbers... somewhat more than 1/2 and under 2/3rds of the fee goes to the attendant.

I have a problem with tipping too much at these places. I pretty much always drop a $50 tip, and it really doesn't affect mileage at all the next time. Maybe it even lowers mileage.

Wow $50 in tip on top of everything. You are quite generous. All the MAs surely love you and your deep pocket.
I honestly don't think they care that much. What's the difference in a $20, $40, or $50 tip at the end of the day? They do love the guys who visit 20 times a month though.

I talked to a few girls whom I have seen a few times and according to them most places are around 60% to the girls and 40% to the house.
And remember say at 110.00 an hour with no deductions or taxes---lots of workers or even professionals don't even make that much after overheads, deductions (EI, CPP, etc) and taxes. Those are net incomes.

I don't tip. Very rarely if I've been provided with a service outside of MA limits I'll provide an additional 20, but usually no tip.

As for the rates they receive, I've heard different things from different girls. Two girls at Brass have told me that they get $100 for each session, regardless of whether it's 30mins, 45mins, or 1hour. The house gets the rest. For this reason many prefer half hour sessions as there is no added benefit for them in taking longer sessions.

This is definitely untrue. As you're leaving the bar area, try to take a glance under the front desk. There are papers posted with rate tables where the rows are the length of the session and there are three columns for each row (total, house gets, hostess gets). It's not a constant rate.

Makes sense, especially given the context of trying to justify why one hour vs. 45mins wasn't an upsell on their end.

Don't know about Brass , but a girl from another well know place , told me she prefers 45 min bookings over an hour , cause she gets the same . ( another told me 10$ more ,,, so , there you go , depends on the spa )

Should we make a new thread about how much the girls make cause i don't see much talking about tips now lol
Regardless of what they make if you enjoyed your session then nothing wrong to add a small tip or gift IMO
Don't know, maybe there are some that want to justify not tipping by saying, this or that girl made enough.
It is as you said, if you enjoy the session a tip is well deserved.

Kelly told me the same thing when I was there last. "new" girls were stealing or under reporting time, etc...

I find it's sort of awkward laying down a twenty at the end if the envelope/card has already been presented. If they have an established web site, I'll check out their wish list and plan accordingly - something like a gift card or some Godiva chocolates worth about twenty bones. I don't think you can ever go wrong with a Vic Secret gift card - they come with a little sleeve and you can write in a generic message. That way, you can give it as a nice little extra, or save it for another occasion if you don't feel an addition is warranted.

The only time I've really gone beyond that was with Adele Gall before she left the country - I gave her a little gift bag with some things she could use. But with Adele, you knew the session was going to be fantastic regardless. Can't wait for her to return!
