Timmies Ice Coffee

Stopped in at Timmies today on College/Spadina to take advantage of their free ice coffee promo.

Sorry Timmies.... It was horrible. Slightly coffee flavoured water at best.

The thought did occur to me though, that maybe I got a watered down version... since there was a bit of a line up and they were pumping them out like an assembly line. I don't know... have never tried ice coffee b4 at Timmies. If that was it though... how it always is, then I won't be getting any more.

Any other experiences?

I seen them make it before, they were pumping this stuff out of this white bottle that looked like it came out of a doctors office lol. did you see that bottle?

its like the flavour bottle or something.

Well what I saw them doing was dumping pots of coffee into some type of mixing machine. I take it the mixing machine had cream/sugar/water etc.

Water being the key ingredient IMO... mixed with ice and a little bit of coffee for flavor.

If the coffee taste was maybe about double as strong as one I got... I may consider trying another... otherwise NOT.

Wow... slightly coffee flavoured water... imagine how much $$ they are making on that?

McDonald counters Timmies free small ice coffee promo by having their own for today only. You get way better deal by picking one of the following,

Regular
Caramel
Vanilla
RoLo for limited time only

BTW, small ice coffee at McDonald is large at Timmies. No wonder Tim Horton's sucks.

Let's see how McDonald is going to wreck havoc/bulldoze Timmies, just like they trashed Starbucks in the States. If my memory serves me right, I could recall unlike McDonald, Timmies does not own any real estate just like Starbucks.....but again I could be wrong.

I must admit when they first came out I did like them. But I must agree, they seem to be watering them down now cause they do not taste near as good anymore.

In Italy they've got this wicked stuff just like Timmie's Iced coffee called 'segafredo' that's just about 100 times better...I wonder why they can't offer something like that here. I wonder why people can't do this for themselves...crushed ice and coffee isn't brain surgery to make.

I'm not a fan of the Timmy's iced coffee, but I love the McPukes iced coffee. I ask for it with half the ice though. Too much ice makes it watered down. half the ice is just right.

Timmy's is way too sweet which is odd because I'm a sugar addict, but I just can't stand it.

I also prefer McPuke's coffee over Tims.
