ya know what's funny , I used to think that those Jehovah's witness' and hare krishna's were bad. ( don't hate them , just think that they are annoying ) . My personal view of islam is one that is being developed by watching how the muslims behave. They're even more judgemental and "on my high horse" than any other religious group i've come across.
Seems to me that most muslims can't take it if you don't believe in what they believe.
I'm sure there are a few muslims on this board just by some of the posts defending islam.
I just wonder what the clerics would be thinking about their hobbying ways.
I'm just glad we live here , where we have the right not to believe , if we choose . call me an infidel if you like . I just hate having other peoples beliefs shoved down my throat.
just a couple of things else I gotta say .
1. I'm glad Larry flint has the right to publish a magazine which some might consider offensive. ( do they have skin mags in an islamic state? )
2. why do the muslims blame everything on the U.S. . the cartoons they are so upset about weren't printed in the U.S. yet they still chant death to america.
3. can someone tell me if its true that only muslims are allowed to go to mecca(this is what I heard , so if you know more , please enlighten me). if so , I find that very discriminatory, and I'm sure we'd get some rioting and bombing if we even mentioned that here.
one more thing , does ANYONE really believe that Iran only wants to develop powerplants with their nuclear program ? that seems like a far stretch to me.
