I'm a moderator in the forums at dafont(dot)com, along with 55 other people, at least one of which is deceased. It's an honourary position, (ie: it pays nothing), but I have no required duties. I am allowed to ban people, hide, flag or delete posts, move topics from one forum to another, confirm correctly identified fonts and read/ participate in the mods forum.
dafont is a site based in France which hosts computer fonts which are free to download, but may or may not have a fee for commercial use. It's the Internet's largest site of that kind.
Several years ago, I was feuding with 'Fred', the site owner's assistant, and I posted this reply:
To read the message, someone would have to first recognize that the font in use is Wingdings, then they would have to use the character map to match each symbol with the upper or lower case letter or punctuation mark with which it is associated on one's keyboard. That would take at least twenty minutes.
I didn't expect Fred to invest that much time to find out what it said, but apparently he did, and he subsequently deleted the thread.
The message says: "Don't fuck with me, bitch, I'm not telling your French ass again!"
