OK apology. Well scripted and very rehearsed. Right after the apology CNN cut to Attorney Gloria Allred and the porn Star Joslyn James press conference. Fucking ambulance chaser.

Of course it was, we all knew that going in, Tiger made it clear he is making a statement and won't be taking questions, no surprises there.Totally staged
That's Tiger's way, just like on the golf course.ready2rock said:Totally controlled
Don't agree, for someone of his magnitude, being infront of millions watching around the world he made some bold statements of admission.ready2rock said:No contrition
Agreed, the PGA tour is suffering big time on viewership so far this year.ready2rock said:He needs to get back to doing what he does best...... the golf world needs him
Don't confuse Tiger's carefully constructed statements admitting guilt.........that were undoubtably written for Tiger by his PR firm, with contrition. Now, was Tiger embarassed by having to voice these statements, yes. Is Tiger sorry that he's been such a hound, or is he sorry he was caught. I believe he's sorry for the later. Call me a cynic.Don't agree, for someone of his magnitude, being infront of millions watching around the world he made some bold statements of admission.
the "scum sucking press" has nothing to do with it..its only the enormous appetite for the salacious that the general public has,,the press is only the messenger boy.....Woods was able to cut in to the Olypic coverage for gawd sakes...you think Obama coud do that? nooooo, because the press knows that the general public really doesnt want to hear somebody talking in riddles about the economy..I just watched it...and thought he did well. Unfortunately, not sure that the scum sucking press will back off...but hopefully he can get on with his life...and back on tour soon. Can't imagine what else he could have said or done at this point...but the cynics will surely question whether this is enough...enjoying their time in the public eye hanging on the Tiger's tale.
maybe i should rephrase.....most people who go out of ther way to become famous ie madonna..want the the public to be fascinated with their lives..its called narssissism...people who have enormous talent and then become world famous, have to know, in their heart of hearts that their lives are an open book..again thats the way it is ..or to quote Tiger woods"it is what it is"..Trudeaus quote has nothing to do with this discussion..i think he was referring to legislating morality..no one is saying that Woods should be in trouble with the law..just my opinion ...Sorry, don't agree, that's taking it way, way too far. To quote a famous man you might have heard of if you're old enough, " The state has no business in the bedrooms of the nation.”
are you off your meds?Maybe tiger is gay and she wont let him have a hole in one ....most men that cheat SUCK in bed they are known as minute men kinda like minute maid orange juice should be his new sponser
imo her body language said otherwise...she looked very uncomfotable , stern, and obviously seemed to me that she just wanted to be somewhere else..Too many damn prior posts to read them all.
There was a really touching moment when Tiger ended his speech and immediately went to the arms of his mom. In the eyes of a mother, a son can do no wrong. Bless all the moms on this Earth and in the heavens above.
A mother can forgive a son for almost anything. Bless all moms everywhere.imo her body language said otherwise...she looked very uncomfotable , stern, and obviously seemed to me that she just wanted to be somewhere else..
The was one of the phoniest moments of the press conference. Would love to see his notes. "After apology go hug mom. She's the short one with dark hair".imo her body language said otherwise...she looked very uncomfotable , stern, and obviously seemed to me that she just wanted to be somewhere else..
