This should be interesting, digital identity in Canada.

This does not surprise me, but it will fail because of the administrative quagmire that it will cause.

This is yet another attempt at administrators desperately trying to control whatever they see.

This is nothing to worry about. It will fizzle and die, like most administrative "efforts"......especially in the US.....

They're just going to keep at it until they break you. viruses, diseases, food shortages, power outages, etc, more injections...

So it’s a digital passport? Or will it hold more info?

Why do we need a digital passport when our current one is fine and can be scanned electronically anyways?
It's not your traditional "passport", this will contain everything about you.
And this is why we are where we are, look around for more information, especially in that tweet, check the comments.
Be curious and keep asking questions.

That is the assumption. We don’t know what will be on it yet. I’m not talking comments for face value. Sorry but that is just stupid.

So I will wait to see what it has on it. If it is just name, address, and a passport number - then fine. But if it is linked to your health card for example, then I have issue.

I just don’t understand the need if we have a passport already. I need the government to show me why this is a need. They have yet to do that.

You mean like what Facebook and every other social media platform has on people?

My opinion on the reason? Everybody needs a smart phone, which are infested with apps to begin with, and their app will be able to pinpoint everybody's location 24/7. Off to the soylent green farm with you then...

It's a very slippery slope and if half of what's said about the digital passport is true, it's going to be a shock to almost everyone that's used to cash, using different cards for different things, health card, driver's license, banking, etc.
And then to have it all under one I.D. and digitally? Not good for us, but great for the bankers, billionaires, corporations and government, in that exact order.

Except Facebook is optional.
If you're on the site and share your banking information, your health information and anything else, then you're not very bright.

That said, would you share any of the above on facebook? The answer is no.

How fucked up this is depends a lot on how it is implemented.
Most digital security people are skeptical.

It's a voluntary service that you don't need to use. You agree to the terms or you don't.
FB does not currently use a subscription service as their business model therefore they need to get paid somehow. This doesn't make them evil. Nobody works for free. Ask an escort on this site if they will fuck you for free and see what they say.
Not sure why the woke crowd has such difficulty understanding basic business models or anything financial for that matter.

Oh, I am not surprised that the woke crowd knows very little about anything real......

If they were actually important, they would not need to be "woke" at all.....

Give it time to implement and we'll see how this goes.
Makes you wonder why licence plate sticker renewals are no longer necessary and funny thing, we're not the only province that is like this.
This "virus" stuff is no doubt a way to "make sure you got your daily booster" and how better to keep track than on a system that the police can acess.
It's literally happening in China right now and no doubt will be happening here. Keep your head in the sand, hopefully you don't get a heart attack when it's implemented. But even if you do get one, it'll be on your digital I.D.

Slowly but surely, it'll all come down to one (digital) card.
Nice try with the "wokeism" shit, but that isn't me at all. 😂

Btw wasn't it the "woke" crowd that called B.S. on these shots that people got? Did you get it?

Speaking of spybook since so many of you mentioned it.
