That is the assumption. We don’t know what will be on it yet. I’m not talking comments for face value. Sorry but that is just stupid.
So I will wait to see what it has on it. If it is just name, address, and a passport number - then fine. But if it is linked to your health card for example, then I have issue.
I just don’t understand the need if we have a passport already. I need the government to show me why this is a need. They have yet to do that.
My opinion on the reason? Everybody needs a smart phone, which are infested with apps to begin with, and their app will be able to pinpoint everybody's location 24/7. Off to the soylent green farm with you then...

It's a very slippery slope and if half of what's said about the digital passport is true, it's going to be a shock to almost everyone that's used to cash, using different cards for different things, health card, driver's license, banking, etc.
And then to have it all under one I.D. and digitally? Not good for us, but great for the bankers, billionaires, corporations and government, in that exact order.
Except Facebook is optional.

It's a voluntary service that you don't need to use. You agree to the terms or you don't.
