What is frightening however is underestimating the stupidity of Canadians who allowed this asshole to run unchecked, over and over. What in particular about his record? Going ahead with TMX was great. Increasing the Child Benefit was great. Maybe the $10 a day child care. Elimination of Interest on Student loans? Maybe. CPP enhanced benefits? Yes.
The 10% boost to OAS was absolutely fucked. Giving rich seniors more money? Are you fucking kidding me? His reaction to the Trucker protest was fucked, NOT a national emergency and going after bank accounts? Really? Calling the unvaccinated, "extremists, misogynists, racists" was just wrong. They're morons but for a PM to go all social media on his fellow Canadians? Health care is a provincial responsibility but over-riding the provinces on the rollout of the national dental plan? Him backstabbing Trump at the G20? Really? You're kidding me right? Flying the flag 1/2 mast for how long - months??? - because of "unmarked graves" - to be graves, there needs to bodies. Years later there is still not one single body. Then there is the WE scandal. Chinese Interference. The Lucki Affair. The General he pushed out of the armed forces. Sole-sourced contracts to friends. Picking a twitter fight with Saudi Arabia. Hiring a cabinet minister’s sister-in-law as Ethics Commissioner. ArriveCan. Then there was SNC-Lavalin. Never mind the HUGE immigration fiasco.
