At first I thought you were being sarcastic when you wrote this but ,as incredible as it may seem I think you actually believe this. What you should have said was " What right do we have not to try everything we can to eliminate this horrific practice which has been taking place for hundreds of years".

I agree with you, I'm astounded in today's world there are some people who can stand by idle and see horrific murder of helpless, innocent children and say," Oh well, it's their way of doing things, they've done it for hundreds of years so I guess it's ok, we don't know any better than them." I'm speechless.
