Sorry, I don't see the humour. Border security is a serious job. These student trainies are clearly not up to the task. They are lacking the required maturity and judgement. They should be fired for code of conduct violations.

Hughes and his former colleague, Levan Turner, both in their 40s, worked summers at the border until the government decided not to hire them permanently.

They claim they were passed over in favour of younger, cheaper, student recruits. Hughes claimed he has been tracking website postings by several of those recruits ever since.

Oh, well that puts irresponsible behavior and poor judgement in a whole different context. Let's lay off a few more of those over the hill union types and hire some more college students to carry guns and guard our borders. Hell, why not extend that hiring policy to the OPP and Metro cops? It'll save a few bucks.
