I personally am tired of your gender, as a collective, giving NOTHING, PRECIOUS FA back in terms of respect, time, and deference to what WE want to do every once in a while. Most men expect everything to be on YOUR time, at YOUR whim and costing nothing in return.
In short, AND NO-ONE YELL AT ME FOR THIS, BECAUSE YOU ASKED, and I have loved incredible men and will again...BUT WILL ALWAYS, ALWAYS LEAVE THEM EVENTUALLY...
Why?
Because you appear to be hard wired BIOLOGICALLY to be incredibly selfish. Like, above and beyond the call of self-centered. Ick. I'm having a blast being single, knowing what I know.
Don't even get me STARTED on musicians.
Nothing beats being a little over the top....Can I get a copy of your manifesto? When do the kidnappings start anyway?

Shiftee,
Just back hair in general. If he removes it, it at least shows that he is conciensious about his appearance. I will amend and say back hair that hasn't been removed.

Big sigh of relief. I thought for a minute all that pissing around in the bathroom was going to be for nothing. Thanks Steph@Hollywood for not being a genetics snob. There could be hope for me afterall.

Sigh. I spoke my truth, and see what you get?
I have no intention of kidnapping any men. I have no intention of harming creatures I love so much. It has been MY experience that men mostly can't see past the end of their noses when it comes to making their partners happy. This is particularly egregeous to me when I am the type of girl who makes her needs known, in a loving and clear manner and am still routinely trounced and dismissed. As for choosing the wrong men?
YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY CORRECT ON THAT ONE, Sweetie. Am getting better all the time...better, better...BET-ter..."

I cant stand it when..

a man smells
is dirty
is not honest
judgemental
procrastinates
is overly aggressive
or overly emotional
arrogant or rude
men who talk bad about others to try and make themselves look better
and the thing that bothers me the most is a man who assumes that because a woman is a SP she is easy or slutty.
I am sure there are more things that I can come up with but those are some off the top of my head.

It’s a rather naive assumption to believe that when people ask for the truth they actually want to hear it. If everyone told the truth, the entire fabric of civilization would promptly unravel. ;)

I'm sorry, should have noticed this sooner... wasn't this song originally by the Animals?

On the subject of turn offs about men, I have nothing to add, other than it still amazes me how many guys show up for a little lovin' with bad hygiene. I can maybe understand how a guy could be immune to his own b.o., but how about taking a shower, anyway, whether you think you need it or not?

You're a young guy, CG, no shame in not knowing who the Animals are. But you should check them out... they did some great stuff... "House of the Rising Sun", "It's My Life", and my personal favorite "We Gotta Get Out of This Place".

Let us now resume with our man bashing...

All I can say, Sarah, is that, perhaps, you haven't met the right men.

I know many men who have the same complaint about women being very "high maintenance" and who feel that they are taken for granted. The "what have you done for me lately" attitude is not gender specific!

I think that there are some people who only take from a relationship and there are others who prefer to give as well.

Good luck finding someone more giving in the future.

Zog.
