Santorum now apologizing about calling Obama a snob, sort of.

...but then Santorum does a lot of that.

Realizing you made a mistake but when you say you say things that are wring, silly, or down right stupid, not just slips of the tongue, it begin to show you not ready for prime time, read the international arena.

Romney, Santorum, Gingrich and Paul are indeed a weak field, so far none has articulated a positive vision. The USA requires a substantial re ordering of their national agenda. I personally like Ron Pauls spending cuts which are REAL cuts, not just a slowdown in the growth rate of spending. Govt Spending has to be no more than 18 to 20% of GDP for the economy to grow. Revenues should be around the same, slight deficits are Ok as there is enough global wealth and demand for interest bearing securities to fund some debt but not at the extreme levels we see today. Romney nor Santorum will get the country where it needs to be. Gingrich has a better plan but he doesnt have the institutional support necessary to be effective (wonder why?) which is why he is trying to appeal to the grass roots

Obama on the other hand is driving the country into the grave. 25, 26 % of GDP govt spending is taking its toll and the unfunded liabs are just sitting there waiting to drag on the real economy even more, at an increasing rate. Obamas supporters are not going to allow him to make the necessary changes and in fact may force him even further in the wrong direction.

So here is a question>>>> is there anyone out there who would make a fantastic President? who could actually bring the citizenry together and lead the country on a sound track in a manner that is not too punitive. what is it going to take for that person to emerge?? can it even be a politician??
Sol we've seen now that you've tossed in the towel for 2012, having struck out big time and are gazing ionto your crystal ball into 2016. Are we now going to listen to your incessant blatherings that you know better, know more, and have the cerebral acuity ot unde understand things, for t4 more years.

Obama isn't drive the ground into the grave, he stopped it from going deeper by 30 years of incompetence. I n=know you'd love it it done tomorrow but others with their head in a better place know it can't be done that quickly.

A fantastic president? I'm gong to stick neck out here and say you have someone in mind, so don't keep us in suspense, spill it

So now you're going to hijack other threads as well. Yes, I made the statement and at least it's the truth, unlike some of the shite you post. Apparently the indignation tha the lady members should have over post hasn't materialized. So much for you insight into the female minds on TERB.

... and this is the Political & International Affairs Forum on that BB and there is also an Open Forum called the Lounge on this BB in which members can talk about about almost things of which you and Rubbie aren't the arbiters of what is or is not allowed, although you think that's the case.

There are also four or five other fourum that members with your interests can post in so I wouldn't feel too repressed and downtrodden, if I were you

Now back in you crate and let those with useful brains get back to the thread.

So much for Super tuesday.

Again, the the long and grinding road to zzzzzzzzzzzz. Santorum is ecstatic at coming in second 'ahead of 'yesterdays guy' and 'never going to make out of the basement' guy. When is California's primary? Don't bother, let me be surprised.

It's amazing how the GOP is 'self-destructing' after being allowed to spend ALL THE MONEY they want to, courtesy of their judicial activist Republican Supreme Court decision that equates money as being free speech!!!

All that money highlights what a sorry lot of asshats they ARE!!!....:biggrin1:

I heard a great definition of Gingrich and his place in the GOP race. He's the guy at the bar who finally realizes he's not going to get the girl, but will try and make sure you don't get her either.

Romney wins big in Illinois, now twice the votes than Santorum and half way to the magic number. Romney has won every state where the Evangelical vote is less than 50%. Between now and the 23rd of April and Pennsylvania, Santorums home state, not one state has an Evangelical majority. Hmmmm.
