Aardie looks up to JAJA as a 'wise man' on this board and holds him in very high regard as somewhat of a personal mentor. This is why they both appear on the same mental wavelength at times. Great minds and all....look! papasmerf's son Aardvark join in the dirty mind games
Well, I'm not likely to be at a terb party anytime soon, but you're on.My eternal gratitude.
OK, and a beer at the next party. Just find me, look for a Samuel L. Jackson twin.
Thank you.
I do believe that is game, set, match.
This does appear to be the case.I don't support political assasination of leaders, however the Colonel had to see this coming and brought it on himself.
You really are full of it. Obama had to go out of his way to prove he was an American and even then people still had doubts, you included. Obama identifies himself as black because that is the culture he grew up in and moreover, how people indentified him. To pretend that race doesn't matter in this country is simply sweeping it under the rug. It does matter. We might wish it didn't but that doesn't change reality. Which is why the election of this African-American President is such a huge milestone. The only way to really challenge pre-conceived notions and prejudices is to show people in a concrete way that they can be surmounted. Regardless of what you think of him, for whatever reasons you have, he has broken a barrier that will hopefully remain broken. One of the things you do not understand is I see that as a positive thing.
If you check back in my history you will find that I felt and still do feel that is, if Obama used the fact he is an American and not a white or a black man he would do more to unite the people then has been done for 50 years.
Regardless of what you think of him, for whatever reasons you have, he has broken a barrier that will hopefully remain broken.
