I assume that when they say "adjusted for inflation" it refers to how a 1987 dollar would have bought more than a 2023 dollar.
But seeing as concert ticket prices have gone through the roof in just the last decade alone, I wonder how much an average ticket for this tour compares to an average ticket cost for Jackson's 1987 tour.

The guy's voice has one pitch. The semi falsetto tone that he locks into for every forgettable song. Ain't no Michael in my opinion.

The average gross for each The Weeknd's concerts is about 80% of the gross for the current tour by the 80 year old Rolling Stones, who still have two real members, and Ron Wood.
The Weekend's numbers are still pretty good, for a Canadian.

Tesfaye's new series for HBO, The Idol, is universally hated., the IMDB reviews are excoriating. The Weeknd will easily romp the Razzies next March. They say his performance makes Tom Greene look like Daniel Day Lewis. Lily Rose Depp may actually garner her enough sympathy to get her much better roles. Daisy Ridley may take roles that Ms Depp rejects.
