The first horrible reminder that once again the 'Happy Family-Only Oriented' Christmas session will be upon us soon.

That's what I say to both Xmas and snow. I just came back from lunch... and it is freezing out there. The wind was too freekin much and snow... f**kin snow. Yuk! Last week was 'The Brat's' B-Day... cost me over 2bills. I can't even imagine what Xmas is going to cost me. lol.

I will be at the Xmas party though... and gladly accept any bonus or gifts we get at work.

LMAO.

I can't wait for the ski slopes to open!

If you hate the holidays with family, get yourself a pager. Then arrange for an "Emergency" page at an appropriate time. *wink*

If you don't see family at the holidays, and would rather not be alone, there are surely some like-minded terb members who would love a get together. Then you can get into a face to face flame war, and it'll feel just like home! :)

Snake you're right but I'm not happy yet. Although I do enjoy snow and the outdoor activities it brings with it, I hate this time of year because it's just plain cold and the snow doesn't stay. Old man winter just teases you with blustery days with lake-effect flurries yet nothing accumulates for another month, minimum. My snowboard is tuned and ready to go but unless I go to the mountains, I'm going to have to sit for the next 3-5 weeks waiting for reasonable accumulation on the hills.

Maybe that's why all this Christmas stuff and family crap is so annoying in the comming weeks, because there is no alternative activities to distract you from everything...like fluffy white snow covered with lots of Ski Bunnies and Board Betties. I guess I could suggest the family Christmas in the mountains...nah!
