If we're talking about the 2 most recent divisive topics - gun control and abortion - the "left wing" is about 70% of the American people. That's the % that don't want Roe v Wade overturned and who support some measure of gun control.

Climate change. We have left wing leaders in both Canada and the United States telling us we need to get off fossil fuels but their actions are to the contrary, We are set to increase in oil consumption. They say they are for protests. They are not, they only believe in allowing protests if it's something they agree with. The Liberal government changed their tune when they were being protested.

CNN - is still right leaning media compared to Canadian views
Climate change - Yes, politicians are still pandering to oil companies and oil workers and need to get serious
Protests - the anti-vaxxer right wing convoy was treated with kid gloves compared to BLM protests and G7 protests in Canada.

Probably the biggest trick or successful tactic right-wing media has done is to demonize all other media that doesn't align with their agenda. They have told their audience not to trust "mainstream media" over and over for years. Now they have a completely captive and clueless audience, that only listens to right-wing media.

Yet CNN continues to lose market share, it is a three ring circus (Fredo) & the CBC sold its integrity to a moron

do not pretend for a second that the problems with mainstream media is exclusivly a right wing issue.
In Canada it is definatley tilted to the left
