LOL.

Yeah, new songs that are any good, are far and few between these days.

I remember the 80s when hits would come out almost monthly, even weekly.

These days, it seems like we're lucky if there's one good song coming out per year.

For example, the only songs, IMHO, that are even worth listening to, are Hey There Delilah by Plain White T's and Beverly Hills by Weezer.

These songs actually came out in 2005, and only seem to getting radio play now.

And they are of marginal quality at best.

there was a few songs past 1974 that featured the Cow Bell ,but you are right the bulk of the Cow bell songs were before that time

The cowbell is still around, but for sure is less than prevalent. LCD Soundsystem and The Rapture has used it on occasion with good results.

Ringo deserves to be in the Cowbell Hall Of Fame.
