Harry and Meghan are guilty of believing their own hype. They were told that they could create a brand independent of the Royals. Because he hated all thing royal. He hated the way his mother was treated and looked for ways out in the military, etc.
He is happier. People should just leave him alone. That is what he wants.

She was torn apart worse then anyone and she has no demons in her closet like Trudeau. She was an outsider and portly treated as such.
All it did was remind him how horrible royal life is and how badly his mother was treated and is probably what finally made him say fuck it.
